Google Buzz it Button for Blogger and WordPress Blogs [Updated]

Google Buzz, I know you’ve already heard about that or obviously when you’re using Gmail then I know you’re now familiar with the new social media service by the internet giant Google. For me it seems to be an integrated FriendFeed and Twitter lying on your Gmail account. I’ve been using the new service since it was release and yes I find it useful somehow since I’m using Gmail as my main e-mail account plus the fact that I’m maintaining few blogs. Truly it’s another way of exposing your blogs to social media.

In this post, we will be discussing the way we can incorporate an easy-click button to feed users Google Buzz stream with any article they like to buzz to their subscribers. This idea is what mostly we can see working on retweet or Digg buttons.

I’ll be presenting ways mainly for Blogger and WordPress blogging platform. Here are the easy steps to follow.

For Blogger blogs follow these steps:

1. Log on to your Blogger account.

2. Go to Layout–> Edit HTML–>then tick Expand Widget Templates.

3. Search for this code:

4. When you find the line of code above, immediately paste this code below:

5. Save your template. Then view your blog and try if you can “Buzz it” one of your post.

6. To test if your article was publish on your Google Buzz, Log on to Gmail and see the Buzz tab. You should see the link published.

For WordPress simply use Single.php and add the following code below. I prefer adding the code rather than using another plug-ins to support these add-ons. Another plug-ins can contribute on loading stress.
